Why test a display with a blue screen?

Pure blue isolates blue-subpixel behavior and can reveal points that fail to show blue correctly. A flat blue field also helps with simple uniformity checks and can serve as a clean digital background.

Blue screen for pixel checks

Use Pure Blue #0000FF for diagnosis. Confirm any suspicious point with red, green, white and black screens because a single-color observation cannot identify every pixel fault.

Blue uniformity and viewing angle

Look for visible patches, tint changes or brightness differences. Some LCD panel types shift color with angle, so compare from your normal viewing position.

Blue background uses

Royal Blue and Sky Blue presets can provide simple backgrounds for calls, photos, videos, signage or presentation workflows. They are not calibrated reference colors.

Long-duration blue and downloads

Use the timer for extended display sessions and download exact full-HD, 4K, 8K or mobile blue PNG backgrounds when you need a file rather than a browser page.

How to use the full-screen color safely

1. Set your display to a comfortable brightness.
2. Choose the exact color or shade you need.
3. Select a duration only when you need a long session.
4. Keep Screen Awake enabled if you want the browser to request Wake Lock.
5. Press Exit or the browser Escape control when finished.

Long-duration color screens are browser utilities. They do not override every operating-system sleep, battery, thermal or screen-protection rule.
