What can an orange screen be used for?

Orange is useful as an additional mixed-color display check and as a warm visual background for ambient lighting, video, photography, presentations or long-duration browser display use.

Orange screen for warm ambience

Orange and Amber presets provide a warmer appearance than white or yellow. They can be useful as simple room ambience or camera background lighting when precise color accuracy is not required.

Display checks with orange

A flat orange field can expose obvious tint, brightness or pixel differences. For diagnosis, always compare with the exact red, green, blue, white and black tests.

Backgrounds for video and photography

Use the browser fullscreen mode for a clean digital background or download a flat PNG for editing and presentation work.

Long-duration orange screen

Choose 10 hours, 24 hours or another duration when you need a persistent warm field. The page can request Wake Lock, but it cannot override every device power-saving rule.

How to use the full-screen color safely

1. Set your display to a comfortable brightness.
2. Choose the exact color or shade you need.
3. Select a duration only when you need a long session.
4. Keep Screen Awake enabled if you want the browser to request Wake Lock.
5. Press Exit or the browser Escape control when finished.

Long-duration color screens are browser utilities. They do not override every operating-system sleep, battery, thermal or screen-protection rule.
