What does the custom color screen do?

The custom color tool lets you enter any valid HEX color, display it across the whole screen, run a timer with optional Wake Lock and create matching PNG backgrounds without uploading anything.

Choose any HEX color

Use the color picker or enter a value such as #1D4ED8. The browser renders that CSS color, but the physical appearance depends on your screen profile, panel, brightness and ambient light.

Custom color for lighting and backgrounds

A custom color can provide a quick fill light, video background, presentation field, tracing background or ambient screen. It is a convenient creative utility, not a color-calibrated lighting system.

Custom color for display testing

For systematic pixel checks, use the exact white, black, red, green and blue pages. Custom colors are better for exploring tint, mixed colors or real-world backgrounds.

Timers, Wake Lock and downloads

Run the selected color for 10 hours or another duration, keep the screen awake when the browser allows it, and generate Full HD, 4K, 8K or custom-dimension PNG files locally in your browser.

How to use the full-screen color safely

1. Set your display to a comfortable brightness.
2. Choose the exact color or shade you need.
3. Select a duration only when you need a long session.
4. Keep Screen Awake enabled if you want the browser to request Wake Lock.
5. Press Exit or the browser Escape control when finished.

Long-duration color screens are browser utilities. They do not override every operating-system sleep, battery, thermal or screen-protection rule.
